So today is the day!  First Stop: New Orleans, where the crawfish are bountiful, and the beads fall from the sky like manna.  We were suppose to leave an hour ago, but last minute preparations...ahem...on Katie's side, has caused a bit of a delay.

You may be asking yourself, what is their reason for going to california.  Is it a spiritual journey?  Is it a trip with hopes of finding personal enlightenment?  Why would one want to camp for a month in unknown places?

Well the answer is that Katie and I were eating lunch at Fives Loaves and were talking about travelling and decided that we must take a road trip and since I have never been to California, and Katie loves California, it seemed like the perfect destination.  We just want to get out for a bit and experiences new places, faces, and spaces...nice ryhme, eh.

We really have no itinerary other than the fact that we have to be back in Charleston by June 1, because I have to take summer classes, lame.  But until June 1 we have no plans, so we could go anywhere, which is why you should check this blog at least every other day, to find out what new and interesting place Katie and Charles are in.

See ya'll in a month
